In order to fully prepare for the general election in 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission has begun inviting applicants for INEC ad hoc staff to participate in a required training.
Keep in mind that the timetable below is what INEC will use to organize the INEC Adhoc Staff Training:
- Presiding Officers/Assistant Presiding Officers (PO/APO) - 13th February 2023 to 16th Fabruary 2023 - 4 days.
- Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPO) - 9th Febraury 2023 to 11th February 2023 - 3days.
- Collation Officers (CO) - 21st February to 23rd February - 3 days

The INEC Adhoc Staff Training will provide the Adhoc Staff Candidates with the knowledge necessary for the administration of the 2023 General Election, as well as the setup, handling, and drafting of results and reports.
During the INEC Adhoc Staff Training, candidates for the election will be chosen based on their performance in rigorous tests, quizzes, and practical exercises that will be overseen by INEC officials.
